GPX Elevation Profile Viewer

Upload any GPX file — see elevation profiles, gain, loss and distance for every segment.

MyWeather.Space includes a free GPX elevation viewer that works with any GPX file from CalTopo, Gaia GPS, Strava, Garmin or your GPS watch. For race course files with named track segments, it automatically breaks the route into sections and generates a detailed elevation profile for each one.

What you get

• Per-segment elevation profiles — visual SVG chart for each named track segment
• Accurate elevation gain and loss — calculated from real terrain DEM data
• Distance per segment — measured from actual GPS track points
• High and low points — peak elevation labels on each profile chart
• Total route stats — cumulative gain, loss, distance and waypoint count
• Metric or imperial — toggle between ft/mi and m/km

How to use it

1. Open MyWeather.Space and click GPX in the location bar
2. Upload your .gpx file
3. Once waypoint weather loads, click the Elevation tab
4. Click any segment button to load its elevation profile

Supported GPX files

Works best with GPX files that contain named track segments — typically exported from race mapping tools like CalTopo or RideWithGPS. Also works with simple waypoint files for weather forecasting along a route.
